NewTek TriCaster 40

Verkaufe ein betriebsbereites Produktionssystem NewTek TriCaster 40, die kompakte Regie mit Bildmischer, Videoplayer, Recorder, Grafikmaschine und Streaming-Encoder in einer Einheit.

Das Set besteht aus dem Mini-PC und Wandlern in einem Kunststoff-Case verbaut und einer programmierten Tipro-Tastatur als Control Panel (Anschluss via USB) sowie Tastatur und Maus. Die 24“-Monitore auf den Fotos sind nicht inklusive, können auf Wunsch aber auch erworben werden.

Der TriCaster 40 bietet vier Komponenten-HD-Eingänge bis 1080i (siehe nächsten Abschnitt), zwei Netzwerk-Eingänge für Screen Capture (iVGA), einen Videoplayer, zwei Grafikplayer und vier virtuelle Ebenen (wie M/E) für Kombinationen von Bildern. Ein PGM- und ein AUX-Ausgang liegen ebenfalls als HD-Komponenten an (siehe nächsten Abschnitt). Audio kann via Klinken-Mikrofon- oder Cinch-Stereo-Input eingespiesen und via Cinch-Stereo ausgegeben werden. Zusätzlich steht ein Kopfhörer-Ausgang zur Verfügung. Da das meiste HD-Equipment HD-SDI-Ausgänge aufweist, installierte ich vier BlackmagicDesign-Converter Analog-SDI, die das angelieferte HD-SDI-Signal auf HD Komponenten wandelt und dann in den TriCaster einspeist. Zusätzlich liegt jedes Input-Signal am Loop-Out nochmals als SDI an und kann z.B. auf einen grösseren Multiviewer ausgegeben werden.
Der PGM-Output wird ebenfalls auf einen BMD-Converter gegeben und liegt dort zweimal als HD-SDI-Signal an. Der AUX-Output wird über eine BMD Multibridge in HD-SDI gewandelt und liegt ebenfalls doppelt an.
Das Interface mit Multiviewer liegt am DVI-Ausgang an, auf dem VGA-Output kann z.B. das PGM-Signal angezeigt werden.

Zur Steuerung programmierte ich eine Tipro-Tastatur mit allen nötigen Kommandos. So kann die PGM- und PVW-Schiene geschaltet und direkt oder mit Auto Trans oder Cut geschnitten werden (kein T-Bar für manuelle Überblendung). Auch Key 1 und 2 können ein- und ausgeblendet werden. Der AUX-Output kann über eine separate Schiene hart geschnitten werden. Auch der Videoplayer und die beiden Grafikplayer können hier bedient werden. Das System hat sich sehr bewährt.

Aufgespielt ist die Version 1 Revision 5g (140516.04C) als Multi-Standard (PAL/NTSC umschaltbar). Als Add On ist der Virtual Set Editor zur Erstellung von virtuellen Studios installiert.

Der TCXD40 ist ideal für kleine Produktionen mit bis zu vier Kameras, Einspielern und Grafiken. Ich produzierte etliche Livestreams und Aufzeichnungen mit dem TriCaster 40 und kaufte dann das grössere Modell TCXD 8000. Er läuft problemlos. Das Audio des Videoplayers gab ich via Klinkenbuchse aus, mischte es extern auf einem Audiomixer und spies das Signal dann via Cinch wieder in den TriCaster für Aufnahme und Streaming.

Das Rack wiegt rund 25 kg. Eine Abholung in Zürich/Schweiz wäre die beste Lösung. Falls ein Transport/Versand nötig ist, können wir gerne eine Versandmethode besprechen und kalkulieren.
