The vx 2 is a powerful pro range media server, designed to handle high-performance tasks such as playing uncompressed 4K60 video and capturing 8xHD or 12G sources. With faster networking capabilities and high-performance storage, the vx 2 offers more power and flexibility compared to its predecessor, the vx 4. It also features VFC output cards and a robust design for long-lasting use.
Built on the vx 4 chassis, the vx 2 allows for easy scalability and futureproofing of workflows. It offers more creative freedom by allowing for real-time content scaling and capturing 4K inputs via Quad 4K or 12G SDI inputs. The vx 2 is also equipped with a System Management Controller for easy server setup and control, and is powered by RenderStream for seamless synchronisation and cluster rendering. It also offers dynamic control and automatic workflows for popular engines like Unreal Engine and Notch.
