Avid® live sound systems are complete state-of-the-art live production solutions comprised of high-quality components that work together as one, offering studio-grade quality, powerful performance, rock-solid reliability, and unprecedented flexibility. The compact Profile console is the mixing centerpiece of the Profile and Mix Rack Systems, and is a size-conscious alternative to its acclaimed big brother, the D-Show® console. With Profile, you get the legendary hallmarks of Avid live sound systems tailored for small-to mid-sized environments and applications, such as
houses of worship, theaters, nightclubs, and remote broadcasts.
The FOH Rack serves as the central processing component of both D-Show® and Profile Systems, housing an embedded control computer, DSP Mix Engine Cards, interface option cards, and I/O for local inserts and outboard devices. It works in conjunction with up to two Stage Racks for remote stage connections, employs VENUE software as its graphical user interface, and enables full Pro Tools® integration with optional interface cards.
The Stage Rack serves as the remote I/O component of both D-Show® and Profile Systems for stage connections. Working in conjunction with FOH Rack, Stage Rack can be expanded to house a variety of analog and digital inputs and outputs for mic and line-level connections, which are delivered through a 75 Ohm BNC digital snake connection to the FOH Rack. You can use up to two Stage Racks simultaneously to handle large-scale productions—with up to 96 total mic/line inputs and outputs.
