Details:
Desk is an analog SoundCraft ghost, 32 channel.
The two Apple channels and channels 30,31,30, and 29 have all been professionally upgraded.
Modifications were to the master section, groups 7+8 and the last four channels.
Master section is important as this is where the summed mix is amplified and makes a significant difference to the performance of the console.
The previous owners choice to have the mods done was to hear what upping the spec of the console would do to the overall sound.
All the mods follow a similar spec, upgrading of op-amps to burr browns, re-capping with high quality capacitors, some with increased values to improve frequency response, especially in the low end.
The results are spectacularly good! Great for an analogue mastering console.
Kept and stored in a professional smoke-free recording studio.
