TiMax is one of the most powerful audio matrix systems available. TiMax (the name is derived from Time Matrix) is a sophisticated control system intended for applications requiring accurate localisation of sound in a performance space or event arena.
TiMax enables the sound designer to utilise the principle of Precedence to simultaneously localise several different sounds to several different locations.
This is possible because TiMax allows each matrix input – output crosspoint to have a unique setting of level and time delay. Furthermore TiMax will mix several signals to outputs.
The control software for the system is intuitive to use and simple to learn. The new concept of the audio Image Definition allows sophisticated and flexible control of audio signal routing. This coupled with the event control and sound effect playback capability as well as external synchronisation possibilities makes TiMax a truly remarkable product.
